Marion, Ind. – Investors who own stock in Indiana utility companies will gain an additional voice through a newly formed grassroots organization. The Indiana Utility Shareholders Association (IUSA) was established as an independent entity formed to give an organized, collective voice to individuals who own stock in any of four investor-owned gas and electric utilities in Indiana including American Electric Power (AEP), Duke Energy, NiSource and Vectren.
Through its members and staff, IUSA will work with organizations such as the Indiana General Assembly, U.S. Congress and state and federal regulatory bodies such as the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission on energy issues that impact Hoosier shareholders.
